Reduced Pain and Enhanced Precision: Premium Implant System

SUN Dental Hospital opened in 1997 as the first dental hospital in the Daejeon area. Currently, it has 34 specialists and general practitioners leading cutting-edge advancements in the medical industry. It is also the first in Daejeon to introduce dental implants, leveraging 26 years of experience and knowledge from over 160,000 implant procedures and offering premium implant treatments incorporating modern technology. SUN Dental Hospital is renowned for full-mouth implant procedures for patients with no teeth, ranking first nationally in such implant practices, and specializes in complex cases such as maxillary sinus bone grafts, alveolar bone grafts, and treatments for patients with systemic diseases or chronic periodontitis.

Before implant procedures, SUN Dental Hospital uses a 3D facial scanner to capture the face, and recreate it as three-dimensional data, which allows patients to preview their post-treatment appearance and design the shape and color of their teeth. Custom abutments tailored to each individual's gum shape are manufactured, significantly reducing the risk of periodontal disease and extending the implant's life. If a bone graft is needed before the implant, the patient's extracted tooth is used as a grafting material, eliminating the risk of rejection and infection. This also accelerates bone formation, substantially shortening the treatment period.

After the implant procedure, the hospital provides maintenance using painless GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) scaling to ensure the longest possible use of the implant. This treatment stains the bacterial film, a primary cause of cavities and gum disease, allowing for direct visual confirmation. Over 90% of it is removed, making the maintenance process more meticulous than traditional scaling methods.

Implants Approximately 2.25 million KRW per tooth for domestic products and 3 million KRW for imported products.
Painless GBT Scaling Approximately 120,000 KRW. * Prices may vary depending on the scope of the procedure.

Exploring the Hidden Joys of Countryside Villages: Fair Travel

Fair tourism focuses on respecting the lives and cultures of residents, preserving the natural environment, and promoting sustainable travel through fair trade. The Daejeon Tourism Organization annually operates distinctive local culinary, activity, and wellness tourism programs. Today, we'd like to introduce a holistic sensory healing program located in a quaint village by Daecheongho Lake's 500-ri Trail, a signature attraction of Daejeon.

The Leehyeon Village in Daejeon brings together residents, potters, culinary researchers, and fruit farmers to offer village tours and various experience programs. Sky River Atelier, located here, offers ceramic workshops featuring the area's iconic wind chime, Gamdol Fish Landscape (small bells hung under eaves). When the wind blows, these bells produce a crisp and refreshing sound. Opposite Sky River Atelier is a unique mud restaurant named "Chogarang." Here, you can enjoy a healthy Korean meal from wild greens and pickles harvested from the surrounding mountains and fields.

After lunch, there's a mugwort rice cake-making experience at the Chamjoeun Korean Food Institute. This activity gives foreigners a unique cultural experience and evokes fond memories for Koreans. Following this, visitors can enjoy a local environmental play titled "Treasures of Leehyeon Village," which showcases the residents' commitment to preserving their village and the environment.

Leehyeon Village hosts a pumpkin festival every October to promote the Daecheongho Lake’s eco-tourism area. Throughout the village, visitors can find various pumpkin-shaped signs and sculptures. The pumpkin festival has become the village's signature event. As the fair travel experience draws closer, participants can create a pumpkin-shaped soap, the village's mascot.

We hope you'll explore the rich culture and experiences found throughout Korea via fair tourism, which minimizes the negative impacts of tourism, preserves residents' lifestyles, and protects the ecosystem.
