The City that Never Sleeps, Fun that never goes away Daejeon Zero o’clock Festival

Inspired by the hit 1956’s K-pop song, 'Daejeon Blues,' the Daejeon Zero ’clock Festival encapsulates the spirit of a continuous fun and energetic nightlife. 'Daejeon Blues,' which poignantly portrays the agony of farewell set against Daejeon Station, serves as a compelling backdrop for the festival. The midnight train leaving for Mokpo from Daejeon forms the heart of the song and inspired the inception of the Zero o’clock Festival. The festival's vibrant slogan, 'Daejeon That Never Sleeps, Fun that never goes away,' aptly complements the diverse 'time-travel' themed programs on offer, allowing attendees to traverse the past, present, and future of Daejeon.
