2024 South Korea Science Festival Visiting the World's Largest Laboratory

The “2024 South Korea Science Festival” will be held over four days from April 25th to 28th in various locations within Daejeon's urban center, including Daejeon Expo Plaza, Expo Science Park, and Hanbat Arboretum. Celebrating its 28th year, this festival is a leading science and culture event in South Korea, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the City of Daejeon, the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity, the National Research Foundation of Korea, the Daejeon Tourism Organization, and the Science & Culture Consultative Group. It showcases the nation's scientific and technological achievements in one venue.
The theme of the 2024 South Korea Science Festival is 'We are all Scientists!' encapsulating the idea that the moment we look at the world with curiosity, we all become scientists exploring our surroundings. It is an experiential festival emphasizing how closely our daily lives are intertwined with science.

The festival features a plethora of engaging programs for all ages. There are exhibition programs showcasing scientific and technological research achievements by government-funded institutions and corporations, experience programs that stimulate participants' imagination, and science lectures by experts in the field. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in South Korea's 12 major national strategic technologies, among other cutting-edge technological achievements.

Additionally, the festival offers a variety of complementary programs, including unique relaxation spaces themed around science, science-themed cafes selling food and beverages, science galleries, cultural performances, an art flea market, and a pre-market, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
